Do one last walkthrough
- Clear counters, tables and floors. Put away bins, soap bottles, cords and pet gear.
- Turn ceiling fans off and working interior lights on.
- Straighten bedding, furniture and window coverings.
- Move cars out of the driveway when possible.
Make room for movement
Video follows a path through the home. A distraction in the next room can appear before you expect it.
- Keep doors and walking routes clear.
- Check mirrors, windows and reflective surfaces.
- Keep people and pets out of the filming path.
- Move real-estate signs and visible license plates out of the camera view where practical.
Moving footage is harder to retouch than a still photo. Have the property ready before filming begins.
Appearing in the video?
If your order includes an agent introduction, arrive camera-ready and have a short message in mind: introduce the property, mention a standout feature and give viewers a next step.
- Confirm your arrival time and the introduction format with Cody.
- Keep your message short and natural.
- Flag any pronunciation, contact details or on-screen wording that needs to be exact.
Tell us what matters
- Share the features you most want viewers to notice.
- Confirm the ordered video format and any advanced edit or agent-introduction upgrade.
- Tell Cody about access restrictions, people or pets on site and unfinished work.
- Share your listing launch date so any timing needs can be discussed before the shoot.
Need another format or edit? Confirm the scope before filming so we can plan the footage.
